First Thing to Remember
You Do Not Need Lots of Friends
It can sometimes feel as though everyone else has a huge friendship group.
Social media can make that feeling even stronger.
But having lots of people around you is not the same as having good friendships.
One or two people you can trust, laugh with and be yourself around can matter far more than trying to be popular.
Friendship is not about collecting people.
It is about finding connection.
Your aim does not have to be:
“How do I become popular?”
A better question may be:
“How can I get to know one person a little better?”
