The Teen Confidence Scorecard

A simple assessment to help parents and young people understand confidence, courage, self-belief and readiness for the next brave step.

Who is this for?

This assessment is designed for parents, carers and young people aged approximately 11–19 who want a clearer picture of confidence, self-belief, communication and everyday courage.

It is not a medical or mental health diagnosis. It is a practical reflection tool to help you choose a useful next step.

How to complete it

Read each statement and choose the answer that feels most accurate right now. You can complete it as a parent, with your teenager, or ask your teenager to complete it themselves.

At the end, you’ll receive a confidence profile and suggested next steps.
